Registration fees for each program are based on whether participants are employees of a WAEPS member practice. In order to take advantage of the significant member discounts, the member’s 2016 dues must be paid prior to registration.

Reciprocal society members:

WAEPS has reciprocal arrangements with ophthalmology societies in Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Alaska, and British Columbia. Physicians, providing proof of membership in their respective state and province societies, may register at the Active WAEPS Member rate. Please contact our office for details if you would like to take advantage of this opportunity: [email protected]

Overnight accommodations:

A room block at a deeply discounted rate of $169.00 per night (single or double occupancy) has been reserved at a convenient nearby hotel: Motif Seattle.

There are a limited number of rooms available at that rate, and it expires on February 29, 2016. So we recommend that you book your room right away. Go directly to this link to book.

Accessibility and special needs:

We encourage participation by all individuals. If you require assistance, please notify Debra Alderman at the WAEPS office at 206-956-3650 at least two weeks prior to the conference. Advance notification is essential in order for us to serve you better. We’ll be glad to help. Note that our conference venue is fully accessible and ADA compliant. Other needs? Moms needing access to our “pump room” during breaks should contact us for details. Special dietary needs? Indicate these on your registration form or contact us via phone or email and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

CME and continuing education credit:

  • Physicians: The Coding Seminar and the Physician Program have been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. See brochures for full information.
  • For non-physicians attending the Coding Seminar: approval of credit from JCAHPO and AAPC is pending.
  • JCAHPO, AOC, and OPS credit is pending for the Ophthalmic Medical Personnel Program.

Cost of CME or CE credit is included in your registration fee. Be sure to comply with attendance verification and evaluation instructions in order to receive your credit.

Paperless Policy

With the exception of the Coding Seminar, we do not produce printed handouts for the programs that are part of this meeting. A link to the syllabus for each program will be sent to those registered during the week of March 21. Please review that e-syllabus as it contains all the handouts from speakers in your program as well as driving and parking instructions, information about CME/CE credit, speaker bios and disclosures and much more. If you do not receive an email with that link, please contact our office: [email protected] .

Questions regarding registration? Please contact Becky in the WAEPS office at 206-956-3631 or email [email protected]
