Lecture 1: Management of HSV & HZV Anterior Segment Disease

Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, attendees should be able to:

  • Differentiate infectious from primarily inflammatory manifestations of HSV & HZV
  • Describe strategies for effective treatment of  infectious and inflammatory keratitis due to HSV & HZV
  • Understand the pros and cons of the HZV Vaccine

Lecture 2: Office and minor surgical management of ocular surface diseases

Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, attendees should be able to:

  • Demonstrate familiarity with treatment of molluscom contagiosum with a minimally invasive technique
  • Describe treatment of band uerasopathy using EDTA Chelation
  • List two key techniques to treat recurrent cornea erosion

How to Participate:

WAEPS members should register for each session in the series by contacting the WAEPS office: [email protected] at least four hours prior to the program. They may also log into their WAEPS member account via the website and register online. Those wishing to participate via webinar will be provided with that month’s login information. To claim CME credit for any of the sessions in this series, please download the credit claim form from the WAEPS website’s Monthly Meeting page and keep track of the sessions you attend. Be sure to submit that form to the WAEPS office no later than May 31, 2017. In addition, in-person attendees must sign in at each session to have their participation verified and receive credit. Note that WAEPS membership is required in order to claim credit for the series.
