Sue Vicchrilli, COT, OCS is the Academy’s Director of Coding and Reimbursement. She is a favorite speaker in Washington well known as a standout authority on ophthalmic coding and reimbursement and uniquely skilled in leading seminars. Sue will be speaking to our WAEPS members LIVE on March 11th and will be available for Questions & Answers throughout the program. She has over 30 years of experience in ophthalmology including all aspects of coding, reimbursement, practice management, and clinical and surgical assistance.

The Washington Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, the AAO, and AAOE, proudly present a half-day program to help you run a successful practice. Michael Gilbert, MD is the WAEPS Coding Seminar Chair, WAEPS Board member and the 2021 Coding Seminar Moderator. Dr. Gilbert’s lecture New Coding Choices 2021; Eye Codes vs All-New E-M, an Executive Summary on December 8, 2020 was our highest attended Town Hall.

Note that to receive the WAEPS member practice rate, the member’s dues for 2021 need to have been paid by the time of registration.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing by March 1, 2021, will receive a full refund minus a $50 cancellation fee. No refunds will be made after that date. If your practice needs to substitute a different employee for a paid registrant from your practice, those changes may be made up to the day of the program. Contact our office for assistance. The American Academy of Ophthalmology is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Designation Statement

The American Academy of Ophthalmology designates this live activity for a maximum of 4 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

IJCAHPO CE Credits

Ophthalmic allied health professionals receive 4.0 IJCAHPO Group “A” CE Credits for completion of this course.

AAPC Credits

AAPC will honor 1-for-1 CEUs for any live event offering CME credit or AMA PRA Category 1 Credit.
