Lecture 1: Finding new solutions to vexing problems in oculoplastics

Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, attendees should be able to:

  • Review the pathophysiology and treatment of thyroid eye diseases
  • Describe the options for orbital reconstruction
  • Demonstrate familiarity with newer ways of eyelid ptosis assessment
  • Compare and contrast types of oculoplastic implants

Lecture 2: The challenging and changing landscape of facial aesthetic surgery

Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, attendees should be able to:

  • Describe key factors in facial aging and anatomy
  • Demonstrate familiarity with new techniques for blepharoplasty
  • Name two key advantages to non-invasive rejuvenation techniques

How to Participate:

WAEPS members should register for each session in the series by contacting the WAEPS office: [email protected] at least four hours prior to the program. They may also log into their WAEPS member account via the website and register online. Those wishing to participate via webinar will be provided with that month’s login information. To claim CME credit for any of the sessions in this series, please download the credit claim form from the WAEPS website’s Monthly Meeting page and keep track of the sessions you attend. Be sure to submit that form to the WAEPS office no later than May 31, 2017. In addition, in-person attendees must sign in at each session to have their participation verified and receive credit. Note that WAEPS membership is required in order to claim credit for the series.
