Evolving Fundamentals of Ophthalmic Coding

Thursday March 29, 2018

Meydenbauer Center, Bellevue, Washington

With reimbursement rules constantly changing, audits becoming more frequent and codes increasing in number and complexity there is critical value in the WAEPS Annual Coding Seminar featuring our expanded American Academy of Ophthalmology Codequest 2018. This is an information-packed event you and your staff can’t afford to miss. Codequest provides unparalleled, expert instruction to overcome coding challenges practices face daily and help improve patient care. However, this program goes beyond the average AAO Codequest. This full-day program with Sue Vicchrilli includes a thorough review of the Evolving Fundamentals of Ophthalmic Coding to complement all-new, accurate and authoritative strategies from the leader of ophthalmic education.

The Washington Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Academy of Ophthalmic Executives proudly present a full-day program to help you run a successful practice. We begin with critical insights on preparing for increasing audits designed with increasing consequences. Fundamentals of Ophthalmic Coding reviews the core knowledge necessary for correct and defensible coding, documentation, and reimbursement practices. Codequest 2018 is ophthalmology-specific, Northwest-specific and updated to focus on the latest coding information you need most in practice today. After you attend Codequest 2018, you will be well equipped to achieve proper reimbursement and avoid audit recoupments and penalties.
